Linea SAT-AC
Compressed air satellites — precision and control on every part
CYM Materiales manufactures rotary satellite shot blasting machines with compressed air projection for the surface treatment of parts requiring precise process control. Unlike centrifugal blast wheel equipment, the nozzle system allows exact adjustment of intensity, impact angle and coverage on each part, for both cleaning processes and high-precision shot peening.
The central indexing mechanism positions each satellite precisely in front of the projection nozzles. Available in configurations from 2 to 18 satellites, with optional Y-Z movement nozzles for programmed trajectories or 6-axis articulated robots for free positioning on complex geometries. Every configuration ensures cycle repeatability in serial production.
SAT-AC machines are used in two main application groups: cleaning of delicate aluminium, zamac and non-ferrous alloy parts requiring light abrasives such as glass beads, and high-precision shot peening with controlled Almen parameters on transmission components, gears, ring gears, and automotive and industrial parts.

CYM Materiales SAT-AC machines are configured according to the process type, part geometry and required control level. The choice of projection system — fixed nozzles, Y-Z or robot — defines the flexibility and precision of the treatment.
CLEANING AND SURFACE PREPARATION
- Cleaning of aluminium, zamac and non-ferrous alloy parts with glass beads
