CYVACT line
CYM Materiales designs and manufactures a complete range of abrasive recovery vacuums for recovering and transporting spent blasting abrasive, in open and enclosed spaces alike. With six models — from venturi suction to a 60 HP vacuum pump — the CYVACT range transports from 0.2 to 11 t/h of light abrasives (sand, garnet, aluminium oxide, glass beads) or steel shot and, in models with an integrated cleaning system, leaves the abrasive clean and ready for immediate reuse.
Abrasive collection, cleaning and replenishment — combined with subsequent dust removal — can represent 30% to 40% of total process cost: the CYVACT reduces that cost and pays back rapidly. Venturi models — CYVACT-S and SF — run on the plant's existing compressed air, with no motor; vacuum pump models — CYVACT-7 through CYVACT-60 — require only three-phase electrical power, with no compressor, no water and no hose clutter, and include a cyclone on the highest-capacity models.
CYVACT abrasive recovery vacuums operate in blast rooms, inside and outside large petroleum tanks, shipyards, dry docks, bridges and on-site field work. The retention silo directly feeds blast pots, while a wide range of nozzles — volumetric, flat, narrow and brush — adapts the unit to every task, from large-volume recovery to final surface preparation before coating. A complete abrasive recovery solution for high-demand blast cleaning operations.
Applications
CYVACT vacuums abrasive recovery adapt to a wide range of industries and work environments, indoors or outdoors. By recovering, cleaning and returning abrasive for reuse, they reduce blast cleaning operating costs and eliminate hose clutter — from spot field work to continuous recovery in large blast rooms feeding two blast pots simultaneously.
