CNC band saws for structural steel

Cutting profiles, tubes and bars at 90° and at miters

The CNC band saws supplied by CYM Materiales cut steel profiles, tubes and bars at 90° and at miters with high speed and precision. Manufactured by AKyapak (AST series), they feature a rigid frame structure that enables fully automatic cutting with precision. The head rotates to the required position by CNC servo motor, ensuring angle repeatability in series production.

They can be installed in tandem with a beam drilling line or as a standalone cutting line. The automatic hydraulic blade tensioning and the motor-driven swarf brush keep the blade clean at all times, reducing cutting failures and extending blade life.

CNC band saws are used in the fabrication of steel structures, bridges, shipyards and construction in general for the precise cutting of profiles and bars to length.

STANDALONE LINE

Independent operation as a cutting saw.
Cutting of profiles, tubes and bars to length from stock
Miter cuts up to 60° right and 45° left
Rapid approach with automatic feed reduction on material contact
Material fed in straight position for 45° cuts to both sides
Integrated swarf conveyor and discharge system

IN-LINE WITH DRILLING

Integrated in tandem with a beam drilling line.
Cutting and drilling of profiles in a single production line
Automatic cutting to length of steel structures
CNC synchronization with the ADM drilling line
Infeed and outfeed roller conveyors
At the end of the cut, rollers on both sides rise 0.4° to facilitate table rotation

What do you need to blast? Find your machine

The choice between the two models depends mainly on the required miter angle and the level of feed control. The AST 1300-600 incorporates an upper clamping cylinder and electronically controlled feed, making it the choice for higher-precision and higher-volume work.
