Hook shot blasting — total coverage on suspended loads
CYM Materiales manufactures suspended-load hook shot blasting machines for the surface treatment of parts that cannot be processed in bulk-load equipment. A single line can process small and delicate materials that cannot withstand impacts, as well as highly complex, heavy and large parts that cannot be shot blasted in belt or rotary table equipment.
Batch hook lines (CAB) operate with one or multiple hooks in fixed or mobile configurations on rails, allowing the loading system to be adapted to the type of part and the required production volume. The hook rotates in front of the abrasive blast stream, ensuring total coverage on all surfaces.
Continuous-pass lines (EST-CAB and EST-TUN) allow suspended-load parts to be processed continuously, with the option of hook rotation during the process or fixed-load operation for large parts or integration into automatic painting lines.

CYM hook shot blasting machines are designed for the surface treatment of parts that cannot be processed in bulk-load equipment. They are used in a wide range of processes: surface preparation for painting and coatings, desanding of ferrous and non-ferrous castings, descaling of forged or heat-treated parts, deburring, and rust and mill scale removal.
