Blast hoses

CYM blast hoses are made with a virgin natural rubber inner tube resistant to abrasion and high-strength reinforcing fabric plies. The 100% virgin material gives them a longer service life compared to hoses made from recycled materials. They feature outer protection against atmospheric conditions and ozone, and a static dissipator to reduce the risk of sparks and electrostatic discharge during operation. The Light Wall range weighs approximately 30% less than conventional hoses, improving operator working conditions and productivity. The Heavy Wall range is designed for the most demanding applications. Lengths are available with or without couplings in 5, 10 and 20 m.

• Select the correct diameter for the nozzle in use — an incorrect diameter causes premature wear and pressure loss at the nozzle
• Keep the hose as straight as possible — avoid kinks, sharp bends or restrictions that reduce abrasive flow
• Periodically rotate hose sections to achieve uniform wear
• Periodically check for soft spots or external deterioration — these are signs of advanced internal wear
• Avoid running over hoses with vehicles or equipment
• Before fitting, cut the hose end perfectly square to ensure correct seating in the coupling
• Always use a safety cable hose-to-hose (CYT02079) when connecting two hose sections together
