GAR-RI continuous shot blast machine for LPG and CNG cylinders

This video shows a CYM GAR-RI continuous shot blast machine for LPG and CNG cylinders. It is designed for LPG bottles, CNG cylinders, small tanks and other gas containers that must be clean before painting or periodic inspection.

An external conveyor meters the cylinders into the cabinet. Inside, the internal conveyor uses non-parallel rollers that spin each cylinder on its axis as it moves under the blast wheels, so the blast covers the whole surface. The blast wheels can be 10, 15, 20 or 30 HP, depending on output and cylinder size.

The cabinet has an internal lining with a hardness of 64 HRC or more. The abrasive goes through an air wash separator before returning to the wheels, and a compact dust collector works in a closed circuit, with no risk for operators or the environment.

Depending on the configuration, output ranges from 50 to 400 cylinders per hour. CYM builds these lines for the gas industry and for cylinder requalification centers, and can add painting booths.
