EST-ROD 8x6 roller conveyor shot blast machine for welded structures, eight blast wheels
This video shows a CYM EST-ROD 8x6 automatic continuous roller conveyor shot blast machine for profiles and welded structures. The maximum passage section is 0.8 m by 0.6 m (31 by 24 in), and the video shows beams, profiles and laser- or plasma-cut parts.
The eight blast wheels are set at different angles around the cabinet, so the abrasive reaches every face with no blind spots and the finish is uniform. Abrasive flow is adjusted and controlled electronically, and the processing speed can be set between 1 and 4 m/min (3.3 to 13 ft/min) depending on the part and the output.
The machine runs steel shot or steel grit. A vibrating screen classifies the abrasive before it returns to the wheels, and an automatic loader tops up what is consumed. To protect the environment, the collector has a primary cartridge filter and a secondary safety filter.
It is a versatile, high-output machine with a low operating cost that can be integrated into fabrication and painting lines. The video ends with the blasted parts and CYM's ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 certifications.
