LT 600 tumble belt shot blast machine with two 30 HP blast wheels for forgings
This video shows a CYM LT 600 tumble belt shot blast machine, also known as a Tumblast, with two 30 HP blast wheels, blasting forged parts in bulk.
The tumble belt turns the parts under the blast so the abrasive reaches every face. The maximum load is 600 liters, up to 1,800 kg (about 4,000 lb) per cycle. A loader carries the parts from the bin into the cabinet and, at the end, the belt unloads them onto a vibrating conveyor that returns them to the bins. The cycle is automatic.
The belt has support rollers, and the cabinet has a rear door for easy maintenance. The video also covers the machine's electrical components.
The LT 600 handles all kinds of bulk parts: it removes scale from forgings and sand from ferrous and non-ferrous castings; deburrs steel, plastic or rubber parts; cleans heat-treated parts; prepares surfaces for painting or coating, and is used for shot peening.
At the end you can see the forged parts after blasting.
