EST-TUN 7x14 overhead conveyor shot blast machine with twelve 30 HP blast wheels
This video shows a CYM EST-TUN 7x14 tunnel shot blast machine with twelve 30 HP blast wheels and an overhead conveyor, designed to blast hanging tools on a shovel line. It is one of three CYM tunnel machines at Truper's plant in Mexico, and it was filmed at our plant during the trials before shipment.
The twelve TR 300 blast wheels run at adjustable speed through variable frequency drives, and each has a vibration sensor with an alert on the HMI. The control cage locks the hot spot so the blast always hits where it should. The cabinet has a double internal lining: a manganese steel base and main plates of high-chrome steel.
Parts travel hanging from the overhead conveyor, on hooks rated for 200 kg (440 lb), from the loading area to the unloading area without stopping the line. The abrasive cleaning system works with airflow monitoring, the abrasive curtain adjusts itself, and the abrasive flow valve is regulated by electronic amperage control. Dust is captured by a CART 36 C collector, and the machine has communication for remote assistance.
In the trials, the line showed a capacity of 17,000 to 51,000 shovels a day over two shifts, depending on size.
