3-roll CNC plate rolling machine

Three-roll CNC - bending cylinders, shells and cones

The three-roll CNC plate rolling machine bends cylinders, shells and cones from steel plate, with pre-bending of each end. It is the lowest-investment configuration and the simplest to operate, manufactured by AKyapak and represented by CYM Materiales.
The three driven rolls work together with a braking system that prevents the plate from slipping during feeding. Depending on the series, the geometry can be fixed — with pre-bending by flipping — or variable, with all three rolls moving independently for greater radius flexibility and thicknesses up to 200 mm (7⅞"). Induction-hardened rolls (50–60 HRC) on a welded St-52 steel frame ensure precision and durability in continuous production.

  • Three driven rolls with anti-slip braking system
  • Pre-bending of ends — one at a time (fixed version) or automatic (AHK)
  • Optional variable geometry (AHV series): three independent rolls for maximum flexibility
  • Optional cone/ellipse device for cone rolling without flipping the plate
  • DRO, NC or CNC control with stored programs to reduce changeover time
  • Induction-hardened rolls (50–60 HRC) on welded St-52 steel frame

The model is selected based on plate thickness, part type and production volume.

SeriesHow it worksBest for
AS / ASM — Initial pinchFixed upper roll + two lower rolls; pre-bends by flipping the plateGeneral economical rolling, medium runs
AHK — Double pinchPre-bends both ends without removing the plate; three driven rolls with brakeGeneral production with clean ends
AHV — Variable geometryAll three rolls move independentlyHeavy plate and maximum radius flexibility
